Mike Chanenchuk joined Stony Brook men's lacrosse as assistant coach and offensive coordinator in July 2019.

Chanenchuk arrived at Stony Brook after two seasons in a similar capacity at Sacred Heart. He previously served as an assistant coach at New York Tech for two seasons.

As a collegian, Chanenchuk was an All-American at both Princeton and Maryland.

He was the 2010 Ivy League Rookie of the Year at Princeton, earning first-team All-Ivy League and USILA second-team All-America honors.

While at Maryland, Chanenchuk was an All-American in 2013 and 2014.

Chanenchuk joined Major League Lacrosse's Charlotte Hounds after being selected 11th overall in the 2014 draft. He twice was named an MLL All-Star.

More recently, Chanenchuk was named a Premier Lacrosse League All-Star during the summer of 2019 as a member of the Whipsnakes. That December, he was voted as the 11th-ranked player in the league.
