I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade, and I received the female "Athlete of the Year Award" in 8th grade. I was selected for the Under Amour West Command team going into both my freshman and sophomore years. My club team is the Mad Dog West Elite 2023 team and I also played for the Mad Dog National 2023 team and the American Select--West Team during the summer 2021. Last January I traveled to Florida for the Power 5 camp and was selected for the Highlight game. In my free time back at home, I put in time with Coach Nick Tintle (Athlete's Choice Sports Performance, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) to improve my stick as well as my dodging and footwork.
During high school freshman & sophomore years, I was a starter on our varsity girls lacrosse team every game. I'm a lefty crease attacker and a great dodger and feeder with a high IQ so I'm able to read the field well. I keep my eyes up and am good with 1v1 dodges, draw and dumps, working from X, and man up situations. Last year (sophomore year) we lost several seniors and had to rebuild so I needed to make the shift to midfielder/high attack to help more all around the field. I loved the challenge to learn more and increase my fitness and will be back as an attacker for club season. In 15 games my stats were 46 G, 26 A, and 30 GB. Last school year I also surfed as a member of the varsity surf team. Outside of sports before COVID, I volunteered at the senior living home right next to our high school campus and I also helped at a local food pantry. I am our high school's Admissions Ambassador and on ASB (student council). Last year, I took Spanish 4 Honors, AP History, Algebra 2 Honors, English 2 Honors with a cumulative GPA of 4.03 (unweighted 3.82). At this point, I am interested in studying something in health, education, or business at a competitive D1 lacrosse school. I am working hard and am really excited to continue meeting coaches & determine if it is a good match for us both!
