Molly McCourt is in her seventh year as the head coach of the womens lacrosse program.

She has guided the Hawks to a 45-44 record in her first six seasons.

McCourt served as the head coach of the Wales womens national lacrosse team from 2011 to 2017. She guided Wales to second place in the 2015 European Championship in Prague, a fifth-place finish in the 2013 World Cup, a second place in the 2012 European Championship and a berth in the 2017 World Cup. She coached in the 2017 World Games with the Great Britain National Team.

An Academic All-Conference student-athlete at the University of Maryland, McCourt was a defender on the Terrapins womens lacrosse team. She earned a degree in kinesiology from Maryland in 2006. She also graduated with a Master of Science in exercise science and coaching from the German Sport University in Cologne, Germany.

McCourts coaching experience also includes three years as head coach of the HLC Rot-Weiss Munchen womens lacrosse team, winning three consecutive German National Championships. She spent two years as the head coach of the German U19 womens lacrosse team and three years as the assistant coach of the German womens national lacrosse team. She coached with U19 Germany in the 2011 World Cup and Germany in the 2009 World Cup.

She lives in Westwood, Kansas with her partner, Mark and cat, Frances.
