Mayo comes to Anna Maria from Belchertown High School, where he served as head coach and led the team to a program-best in wins.

Collegiately, Mayo has held head coaching positions at Wheelock College, Emerson College, and Nichols College. While at Emerson, he recruited student-athletes from the Northeast, California, Colorado, Florida, and Maryland and doubled his team’s roster size.

Mayo has also held assistant coach positions at the Division I and II levels at the University of Hartford and American International College.

A 2000 graduate of Worcester State College, Mayo completed his Bachelor’s Degree in communications. He obtained a Master of Education degree from Endicott College in 2006 and has been a high school teacher for 14 years.

He resides in Connecticut.
