Nathan Zoldesy
Recruit Profile
Player with great field vision and high lacrosse IQ. Comfortable with both hands, excellent finisher. Highly coachable and willing to put in the work. High academic achiever.
One of my first lacrosse memories is my determination to make a local club team when I was in 3rd grade. I approached the coach and asked what it would take. He said I needed to work both hands. I spent the next few months wearing out the goal in my back yard - practicing every night until it got too dark to see. I made that team, and lacrosse has been my true focus ever since.
My freshman year, we didn't have a season due to Covid, but I was on the varsity team last year and worked hard to get playing time on a very competitive attack line. As a junior at St. Ignatius, I have a 3.8 with multiple honors and AP classes. But at our school, you can't just be a scholar and an athlete. Our motto is to be "a man for others," and we work hard to be vital members of our community. I'm in multiple services and academic clubs that are helping me become a better person and teammate. In addition, I have a job at Handel's, a local ice cream store, but I still find time to work hard in anticipation of the coming spring season.
