Nicholas Bilotti
Recruit Profile
I am a proven ground ball leader on field with multi-positional expertise (LSM, Close, Face-off). I am cool under pressure, excel at communication, have a high IQ and am coachable.
I am the starting LSM for my high school and the True Illinois State 2021 Premier/Black teams. I lead the True system in ground balls. I also take face-offs, which is unusual for a long pole. I like the challenge and had great success this past summer.
I think one of my greatest strengths is my work ethic both on the field and in the classroom. A good indicator of this is my GPA. I currently have a 4.91/5.0. I have been on the high honor roll every semester in high school and have been awarded two academic awards. I like challenging myself academically and have taken AP/Honors English, Human Geography, and American Sign Language.
I am a varsity defenseman for the Glenbard High School Co-op hockey team. We are having a solid season, hoping to make it far in state. I have been a part of student council and leadership organizations at my high school. I also play a role in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
One of the coolest things I have been able to do in my spare time is coach young kids. I have had a blast learning to coach next to many of the other True coaches and look forward to doing more of this. I also volunteer at the Northern Illinois Food Bank and Food My Starving Children. I love to snow board during the winter here in Chicago and have learned to surf at my grandpas in Florida. I also like to fish.
I am a science guy and I am looking for a college where I study biology/chemistry or environmental science and play lacrosse.
