I am Nicholas Jaferis and I am a member of the 2023 graduating class at Mt. Sinai High School. I have been playing lacrosse at a high level for many years and intend to continue in college. I am currently a defenseman on the Team 91 Bandits playing under Coach Joe Spallina. Prior to that I played on the Team 91 Warriors for Coach Antonio Masone. I also play Varsity lacrosse for Mt. Sinai High School under Coach Harold Drumm.

My lacrosse career began when I was beginning 2nd grade and Coach Spallina encouraged me to give the great sport of lacrosse a try! I quickly developed a love for the game and have played travel lacrosse for Team 91 ever since. Although I have played both offense and defense, I love playing close defense and have developed a strong lacrosse IQ. I am a very good communicator on the field, play good man to man and off ball defense. I believe that my high lacrosse IQ, skill on the field and strong leadership skills will help me to make a positive impact to an NCAA lacrosse program.

To tell you a little more about myself, I enjoy fishing, boating, golfing, working out, learning about food and nutrition and how best to take care of my body. I have played many sports including football, basketball, soccer and golf. However, my passion has always been lacrosse and I am very excited to continue my lacrosse career at the collegiate level.

As a student, I am in the honors track and hold a 4.0 GPA. I am very conscientious with my school work and take my education very seriously. I am interested in pursuing the fields of engineering or business. I have not yet taken the SAT but plan to do so in the fall of 2021.
