Nicolette Dungee enters her second season as the Head Women’s Lacrosse coach.

In her first season, the Hawks finished with a 1-12 overall record and a 1-9 mark in Conference Carolinas action.

Nicolette comes to Chowan after spending three seasons at LaGrange College (DIII) in LaGrange, Ga. In her three seasons with the Panthers, Dungee increased the program’s wins from one in 2016 to three in 2017 and then six in 2018.

During her first season with the Panthers, Dungee finished 1-13 on the season averaging 5.93 goals per contest. In 2017, the Panthers finished with a 3-10 overall record with an average of 8.08 goals per contest. Her final season, the Panthers finished 6-10 overall along with a 3-6 record in the USA South. The 2018 season the team produced 14.50 goals per contest.

Prior to joining the collegiate coaching ranks, Dungee was the coach at Norfolk Collegiate High School during the 2014-15 season. At Norfolk Collegiate, Dungee coached four First and Second Team All-Region athletes.

Dungee has helped coach at Birmingham Magic Camp, Syracuse Pro Lacrosse Katie Rowan Camp, and the Xcelerate Camps at Auburn and Emory University.

Nicolette was a four-year starter on the Tennessee Wesleyan Lacrosse Team. During her time at TWU, Dungee was named Second Team All-Conference twice, a two time All-Tournament selection, and two time Honorable Mention selection.

The Powder Springs, Ga. native received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tennessee Wesleyan in December of 2014.
