I was a full time soccer player from soccer tots all the way through grade school until I found lacrosse! I started playing lacrosse on a whim in the 5th grade. I put my heart into many sports like soccer as well as basketball, track, and cross country to gain expereince but lacrosse won me over. Even though I came later to the game than most girls, I saw firsthand what hard work and determination can do as I worked to catch up in skill level and leverage my abilities from other sports to become a starter. Since entering high school, I have focused on playing both club and scholastic lacrosse at both the JV and V levels. I play both strong defense and midfield. My skills in the game are not only solid on defense, but I am strong in transition, on the circle and as a feeder. I am in the Honors Biomedical Engineering program and hold a part time job as a hostess so I have learned to manange my time and balance a full workload while keeping a 3.9 GPA. I have to say, when I stand on the field with my stick in hand, things go electric and nothing matters except whats happening on the field. Facing the opponent, making the plays, the camaraderie of teammates soldifies my love for the game that I hope will continue in college.
