Recruit Profile
I really love lacrosse. I believe I am very coachable. I understand and respect the history of lacrosse and I play for the Creator.
I did not start playing organized lacrosse until my freshman year. Before that, I played tackle football and soccer. I had to quit playing football because of a blood clot in my brain. The clot is completely gone but the doctors recommended I quit football and said lacrosse was a good sport for me. I played soccer for several years but I wanted a sport with more contact so I chose lacrosse. I like playing defense because I can dish out hits and checks on the offensive players. I'm starting my junior year and I expect to play varsity this year. I have spent most the last 6 months working with a private trainer. He has help with my speed, agility, approach, shooting and defensive concepts. I'm excited to see how this training translates to game situations. I also tried out for and was selected for Team 48 Club team. I am on the Red Team (Team 48 has a Black, Red and White teams). The Black team is more elite players, but for my first time trying out for club, I am excited to travel out of state and play against some really good lacrosse players. It will be a great test to see where I stand as a lacrosse player. Along with private lacrosse training, I really like doing weight lifting. I was a member of Mountainside Fitness until COVID closed the gyms. For now, I work out at home or at friends houses. My life goals are to get a college degree and/or join the military. I would like to study either automotive technology or engineering. If possible, I would like to do an ROTC program. When I graduate college I may join the military. I currently work at my church doing Operations. I help keep the church clean, setting up / breaking down for church events. I work about 3-4 days a week. I also volunteer at the church with the special needs children ministry.
