Brouillard came to Whitworth from the University of Scranton, where she was the top womens lacrosse assistant coach for two seasons. Scranton had a 22-13 record over the two seasons Brouillard served as assistant coach. The Royals advanced to the Landmark Conference tournament championship game in 2017 and finished with an 11-6 record.

Brouillard has extensive experience at the NCAA Division III level. In addition to her coaching experience at Scranton, she played for four seasons at Allegheny College, where she was a two-time team captain in 2012 and 2013. She was the teams defensive MVP as a senior in 2013 and was a two-time member of the Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Coaches Association academic honor roll.

Brouillard also has experience coaching womens lacrosse in England. She coached at the University of York in 2013-14 and was also the Director of Lacrosse for Ampleforth College in York at the same time, where was responsible for coaching and organizing the U18A, U18B and U15 teams while organizing team activities. She then served as the High Performance Lacrosse Director at the University of Exeter in 2014-15. While at the University of Exeter, Brouillard obtained her masters degree in international management.

Brouillard worked as a marketing specialist in New Hampshire for two years before returning to the coaching ranks at Scranton.

Whitworth announced the addition of womens lacrosse as the schools newest varsity sport in March of 2017 and began a nation-wide search for a head coach. Brouillard spent the 2017-18 academic year recruiting and getting the program up and running. The Pirates played their first game in the spring of 2019 and are currently in their third year as an NCAA program.
