Noelle Gabrish
Recruit Profile
An energizing leader on the field, I anchor the defense with clear communication, unparalleled vision and unrelenting composure.
I am a new comer to LAX but not competitive sports. Early on I played softball, basketball, enjoyed horseback riding and took dance through eighth grade. My first goalie experience was in Field Hockey as an eighth grader where I played club level on NJ Starz. As a Freshman I transitioned into High School Sports playing on the Varsity Field Hockey Team. My Field Hockey Coach encouraged me to try out for the High School LAX team. As a Freshman, I made and started on the Varsity LAX for Voorhees High School. I totaled 114 saves my first year of ever playing LAX. I was offered a scholarship to play club level that summer and honed in my LAX goalie skills. My sophomore year I continued club level LAX playing for multiple teams when a goalie was in need. Winter League LAX afforded me the opportunity to continue to improve and advance my skills where we won the Winter League Championship. My sophomore year as the Varsity LAX Goalie I ended the season with a total of 222 career saves. One of my High School goals is to surpass 500 career goals saved.
