I've been teaching and coaching Nolan since he has been in kindergarten. He's been a starter on defense since his freshman year and usually draws the opposing team's best attackman. Nolan is a coach on the field. He understands our schemes the first time he is introduced and is able to communicate instructions to his teammates during a competition. Along with Nolan's defensive abilities, he has an excellent stick and is extremely valuable on clears to pickup ground balls and push the ball upfield to the open player. Besides Nolan's abilities mentioned above, I believe his biggest asset is that he loves playing lacrosse and makes those playing with him better. He never points a finger or passes on responsibility.
