Nolan Sachs, a 2020 graduate of Ursinus, will begin his first season as an assistant on the Ursinus Men's Lacrosse coaching staff.

Sachs returns to Ursinus after spending a season as an assistant coach for the Dickinson Men's Lacrosse, coaching staff. He was a member of the 2022 coaching staff that saw the Red Devils register a school record 19 wins for an overall record of 19-1. Dickinson won the Centennial Conference Championship in 2022 and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Championships. Sachs helped coach five all-americans and the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Teddy MacFarlane.

Sachs, a four-year starter on defense and team captain, brings championship leadership from Ursinus College, winning the school’s first-ever Centennial Conference Championship in 2019. During that year, Sachs earned All-Centennial honors at close defense. Nolan is currently ranked among the top 5, career, in caused turnovers for the Bear's program.

Prior to joining the Bears, Sachs attended Towson University, but after suffering a season-ending lacrosse injury, he transferred to Ursinus.

In High School, Nolan started all four seasons in lacrosse and lettered three seasons in Basketball at Manheim Township HS.

During his high school lacrosse career, Nolan served as captain, won four Lancaster-Lebanon league championships, two District 3 championships, earned High School All-American, First-team All-District 3, and three First-team All Lancaster-Lebanon league honors.

Nolan’s grandfather, Ross Sachs, coached another conference rival, Franklin & Marshall for 21 years as their Head Coach.

Sachs earned a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Physiology from Ursinus
