I started playing lacrosse in fourth grade when my friend's mom recommended I try it. I fell in love the sport instantly. I have met my best friends through lacrosse and it has been an outlet for me since I started playing; to say it has played a key role in who I am today is an understatement.
I played varsity for my high school as a freshman. This past season I lead my high school team in draw controls, forced turnovers, and ground balls. I began playing for DEWLAX at the start of my sophomore year, and I am currently on DEWLAX 2022 black. At the end of the fall season we were ranked 25th in the nation by US club lax!!
Along with lacrosse, I also play varsity field hockey. This past field hockey season, I made the all division first team and all area second team.
Along with playing lacrosse and field hockey, I am a diligent student. I have a 4.0 weighted gpa and I have made the principal's scholar honor roll every marking period. I am taking three AP classes this year: psychology, language and composition, U.S history. I am also in three honors classes. I am a member of science national honor society, world language honor society, and national honor society. Outside of sports, I am a active member in my school and community. I have over 50 hours of community service and I volunteer to coach cheerleading for the youth program in my town. I am a member of key club and I help with service projects through that. My dad coached youth football voluntarily for over 30 years, so he taught me how important it is to give back to my community! I am also a member of DECA at my school. Through DECA, I placed first at regionals last year and made it to the state competition. I also made it to the state competition this year. I am the fundraising director for my DECA chapter.
