Olivia Graebner
Recruit Profile
Very tenacious, quick and physical player who is coachable, selfless, and determined to succeed.
My love for lacrosse began in third grade. I have always been a multi sport athlete and I am currently a starting varsity defender for both lacrosse and field hockey. I am a physical and aggressive player who is not afraid to take on an opponent 1v1. I consistently hustle for the 50/50 ground balls and I am always looking for the opportunity to cause a turnover. As a lefty, I capitalize on my speed to transition the ball up to my offensive teammates. I am always looking for ways to take my game to the next level and strive to be a strong team player. I am currently taking all honors with AP classes. I am a leader in my school's Mini-Thon and an active member in the French club.

Liv is excellent and a main piece to my team’s defensive unit. She is such a clean defensive player which you don’t find too often. She holds 1v1s across the entire 8M with no need to call for help slides because she can handle it. Her slide package is there and knows when to jump that double or hold her girl. Her height and strength is so solid and looks basically unbeatable out there. She is also a lefty and in my experience as a D1 player, a lefty defender is literally hitting the jackpot, and that’s what you’ll get with Liv. She is one of the best players I’ve ever seen slow ball coming down the field. She is able to make contact and slow down fast breaks with no hesitation whatsoever. She is also great at timing when to drop back and is the player who can direct the rest of her team into positioning to get into the settled defense sets. She is fearless when transitioning the ball and trusts her skills well. She will hit the open passes or just carry the ball over to safety every time. Definitely a D1 contender and such an asset!!!
