Olivia Halverson
Recruit Profile
Coachable, strong ambidextrous stick skills, high lax IQ, multi-sport athlete, academically inclined (3.9 GPA), JR Coach for Lacrosse/Field Hockey
I started playing lacrosse when I was 12 years old. From there on out it has always been my first love. I have always played midfield and love the feeling of being to help out my team on offense, defense and the draw circle. In my freshmen year, I was fortunate enough to be able to start as a midfielder on my varsity team and also be named one of the "Top 75 Freshmen to Watch" by NJ.com. I received the Coaches Award for being an outstanding Freshman and my high work ethic. This Summer I will play with my clubs All Star team (T3 All Star) in Lake Placid, NY. Along with lacrosse, I also start on my high school varsity field hockey team as a midfielder.
Sports aside, I pride myself in being able to maintain a high grade point average. I am currently taking 3 AP courses (Art History, US History, German) in my junior year, maintaining a weighted GPA of 4.0. I am also an active member of student council. In my free time, I also volunteer regularly at Special Olympics and my local library (accumulating over 100 hours and 60 leadership hours). During my respective sports seasons, I help out with my towns recreational sports programs (Junior Raiders) for lacrosse and field hockey (Grades K-8).
