I began playing lacrosse when I was very young in kindergarten and immediately knew it was something I would continue to have fun playing. As I continued to play, my passion for the game and drive to win grew and pushed me to achieve more. Lacrosse has taught me many life lessons such as: how to be a good teammate, and how to be a good leader. I was a 2 time captain for the MKA middle school lacrosse team and 2 time team MVP as well. Being put in a leadership role really built my character overall. Even though I hate nothing more than losing, I still had to keep my head up after many games and be a leader. Now that I am in high school, I am back at the bottom of the totem pole and am excited to learn from upperclassmen and eventually work my way back up.

I have been gifted with the opportunity to work with such amazing coaches who make a lasting impact on my life, and that is what I hope to do at the collegiate level. I hope to attend a school that fits my needs both academically and athletically. Being a multi-sport athlete, I understand how demanding sports can be both physically and mentally and believe that I have the talent as well as the work-ethic and mental drive to compete at the collegiate level both on the field and in the classroom.

Aside from lacrosse, I love to sail in the summers and ski in the winters. Skiing gives me a chance to bond with my family and not focus on external pressures. I also play the piano and sing in the chamber singers at MKA. One of my favorite activities to do with my family is volunteer at the montclair animal shelter. We have fostered over 10 dogs, and have walked over 100. Not only does it feel good on the inside, but it makes an impact on one's life.
