Recruit Profile
Highly focused, self-motivated, three-sport athlete and honor student. Disciplined defender, with protective instincts and uncanny stick check ability.

My lacrosse journey began in 4th grade, when I decided that baseball was too boring for me. I quickly became attracted to defense for reasons that I continue to explore, even now. If I could summarize defense in one word it would be communication. Without it, the team cannot function and things quickly fall apart. I am typically more quiet and reserved, but when I step onto that field, I am loud and encouraging. I am always thinking about the team over my own individual play, because selfish players are not the ones that win games. Teams are built on trust and if you can trust the person behind you, then it is way easier to focus on what's right in front of you. Some defenders define themselves strictly by their on-ball play. Not to minimize this, but my off-ball play is something I focus on intently. I lock down my opponent and frustrate them into making mistakes. My play is mental as well as physical.

I rise to every challenge put in front of me and I am willing to take on any player, no matter what size they are, or how old or fast they may be. You only get better by playing against the best. Personally, I have always been told that I am extremely coachable, and I am always applying the knowledge that I get from my coaches and the best visual aspects that I see from other players into my own game. Over the years, playing lacrosse truly gave me a sense of the word commitment. It doesn't just apply to lacrosse, it applies to everything. Family, academics, and sports. You can't consider yourself a committed person unless you are dedicated to living your life that way. Senior year I will be taking 5 AP classes while playing 3 varsity sports. I try to help my family as much as possible and I always try to help others to the best of my abilities. This sport taught me how to live my life to the fullest and gave me the skills I needed to do it.
