Recruit Profile
Coachable, Team player, Disciplined, Big, Good Stick Skills, Can push transition.
I picked up a lacrosse stick for the first time in the spring of my 8th grade year. That same day I decided to play for my local club team, Rockford Razorbacks. When the spring season was over, I still wanted to play lacrosse. So I traveled with True, Illinois NW Region's summer team.
During my freshman year, I started on the Razorback's varsity team. I made 2nd Team All-Conference Defense. During this season, I made a personal decision to play lacrosse year-round. I was determined to increase my lacrosse skills and become an excellent lacrosse player. I did play hockey from age 6 to freshman year as goalie for division AA teams. My G.A.A. was 1.00 and my freshman year I was elected by my teammates for Assistant Captain. Shortly after my dedication to lacrosse, I was asked to play for 2022 True's Illinois State team. On the True Illinois State summer team, I started on defense and began to play LSM at times.
In the fall of my sophomore year, I continued to play lacrosse for the 2022 True Illinois State team. This past fall I made the All-Star Team in both the Twin Cities Showcase (7/2019) and Midwest Top 80 Showcase (11/2019).
I believe I am strong in one-on-one defense. I feel I move the ball well in transition and I am a positive leader on and off the field. I also believed my experience in the net as a hockey goalie has developed my defensive IQ, and has established my mental and physical toughness. I have been on traveling teams since 7, being able to balance athletics and academic success.
