Peyton Bosshardt
Recruit Profile
Fast, Leader, Disciplined, aggressive, coachable, team player
I started playing recreational lacrosse in 3rd grade and quickly adapted my soccer skills to the lacrosse field. The added challenge of club lacrosse, beginning in 5th grade, helped me develop my skills and my aggressiveness.Track training has increased my speed, which I utilize in long and/or quick sprints when needed. This season I've participated in Varsity track alongside lacrosse, and I've qualified for post-season meets in all three of my events: 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and high jump. I earned 3rd place in CIF for my high jump. In lacrosse, I pride myself in field and game awareness and am quick to call plays or direct my teammates throughout the game. As a freshman, I earned a starting spot on the Cathedral Catholic lacrosse team, and the coach utilized me as an attack as well as midfielder. I'm now in my second season on Varsity and am the second-leading scorer and assist maker on the team. I earned 2nd team all-league honors this season as well. In the fall of my freshman year, I was nominated by teachers to be on the President's Council, where a select group of class representatives gives input on school issues. This year, I made Honor Roll for maintaining a 4.0+ GPA. In the past, I've volunteered as a coach for the Mad Dog Lacrosse Club as well as with Special Education students and homeless shelters.

Peyton played a huge part in our (short) 2020 team. Primarily as a midfielder, her hustle plays, defensive stops and offensive contributions earned her a starting position as a freshman, contributing all over the field. She has remarkable field vision and speed and works hard on and off the field.
