Peyton McGuire
Recruit Profile
Natural speed, quick feet, aggressive, strong left, hard worker, team player. Strong IQ for the game and very coachable, disciplined and focused. High academic GPA 4.0 unweighted.
Unselfish, team player who is as psyched to make a great assist as score a goal. I am very coachable and respect direction and feedback. I am aggressive and always play to win.
Stick skills are built, and I work very hard to make sure I am always improving upon this aspect of my game. After making my high school Varsity team as a freshman, our season, like everyone else, was cancelled. I made the most of this time to continue to improve my game, working out each day at home on agility, speed and stick skills. I also played lacrosse multiple times per week with D1 players home from college and 2021 D1 commits. Playing against this great competition really helped me to prepare for summer tournaments where I was a top scorer, leading our team to a 15-1 season. It also helped me perform well at Under Armour 150 in July.
During Covid, I created some positive ways to contribute to my community. At my high school, I organized a fundraiser to provide meals to front line healthcare heroes at our local hospital. I also organized my T3 lacrosse team to make get well cards for patients at a local hospital given they were not allowed visitors.
My dream is to attend a top academic university and play lacrosse at the next level. I attend Trinity Hall High School, which provides an all honors curriculum. I am currently taking AP courses as a sophomore and hold a 4.0 unweighted GPA. Trinity is an all-girls school and I really love the environment it creates as it focuses on empowering young women and building us into strong and effective leaders.
I am a One Love Foundation Student Leadership Ambassador, helping to educate young people about healthy relationships. I captained JSSs 1Love Wall Ball Challenge and Yards for Yeardley fundraisers. I am also the leader of the Pre-med club and am a member of the Environmental and Students Against Destructive Decisions clubs at school.
I had a great fall season and competed in the Apex Girls Fall Showcase where I was selected to the All Star team. At the Elite Prospect Fall Showcase I turned in the 3rd fastest 5-10-5 out of 130 athletes.
I start for Trinity, a top 10 high school team in NJ, with D1 commits.
I also am a volunteer coach with Little Silver Recreation Lacrosse. Helping to grown the game!
