A long-time prep school coach, Rose will also serve as the Department of Athletics' summer camps director.

Rose joined the Purple Knights after coaching and teaching at prep schools for the previous decade. Between 2014 and 2019, she was the varsity girls' lacrosse head coach and varsity field hockey assistant coach at Pomfret (Conn.) School, also serving the student body as a history teacher, dean, academic adviser and dorm parent. During the 2013-14 school year, Rose worked at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pa., assisting the varsity girls' lacrosse and field hockey programs in addition to duties as a history teacher and academic adviser.

For her first three school years following college, 2010-11 to 2012-13, Rose was at Emma Willard School in Troy, N.Y., serving the varsity girls' lacrosse, varsity field hockey and varsity girls' basketball teams as an assistant coach. She was also a history teacher, sophomore class dean, academic adviser and dorm parent. Amid her stint at Willard, Rose began a four-year tenure as an assistant director and coach with the Connecticut Cardinals Lacrosse Club.

A Durham, N.H., native, Rose played four years of lacrosse at Williams College, helping the Ephs claim New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) titles and NCAA Division III Tournament bids as a junior and senior, in 2009 and 2010. Rose completed a well-decorated senior campaign, when she was a team captain and starting defender, by landing Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Berkshire Region first team and All-NESCAC second team laurels. She was also invited to compete in the Under Armour North/South Senior All-Star Game. Rose played 56 games for the Ephs, totaling 59 of her 71 career ground balls in 39 contests as an upperclassman, and earned Williams' Kate Hogan 25th Anniversary of Women in Sports Award as a senior.

During her undergraduate years, Rose was a volunteer lacrosse coach between 2007 and 2010 with girls at Mount Greylock Regional High School and Williamstown Elementary School in Massachusetts. From 2015 to 2018, she volunteered with Quinebaug Valley Youth Lacrosse in Connecticut. A well-regarded instructor, Rose earned Pomfret's David A. Brush Award for teaching excellence in 2017 and Willard's Mariana Stroock Leighton '55 Award, recognizing promising early career educators, in 2012.
