Walters was named the third head coach in Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse program history in August 2021

In addition to her duties as head coach of women's lacrosse, Walters will serve as the Senior Woman Administrator for the athletic department.

Walters comes to Bryn Athyn after eight seasons at Delaware Valley University. Walters was named the first head coach in Delaware Valley University women's lacrosse history. She helped lead the program to 26 wins in seven seasons of competition. In addition to her roles as head coach, Walters served as Senior Women's Administrator for 2019-20. She also was the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Co-Advisor for three years (2016-19).

In 2017, Walters led DelVal to its first winning record with an 8-6 finish. Two of those triumphs came in conference contests - the first league wins in program history- and the final mark also included a record five-game winning streak. Walters recruited and coached two all-MAC Freedom players and had over 13 all academic selections in her time as head coach.

Prior to Delaware Valley, Walters was the top assistant at Ithaca College where her responsibilities included: defensive coordinator, recruiting, film editing, and academic monitoring. In her loan season with the Bombers, she helped lead them to the Empire 8 championship game and the served on the coaching staff which was awarded Coaching Staff of the Year award by the conference. Walters also spent time as a head coach at North Carolina Wesleyan from 2010-2012. She helped bring back and rebuild the program. She recruited four all conference players to the program.

Walters was a four-year standout at St. John Fisher College. She earned all-Empire 8 honors all four years as a midfielder/defender with the Cardinals and graduated from the institution in 2007 with a degree in psychology. Following graduation, Walters spent the 2007-08 season as an assistant coach at St. John Fisher.
