Joseph Weichert
A gritty, passionate, hardworking jitter bug. That's Mr. Lobitz. I have watched this young man develop as a lacrosse player and as a man. He has put the time in to transform himself, and continues to strive for better. He will bring a next level competitor mentality to any program that is blessed enough to have him. Reme continues to develop his dodging footwork and already has elite explosiveness. He can do it all from a defensive side of the ball, a lot of that comes down to his pride and being too proud to allow players to get a step on him. I see Reme as more than just an offensive threat. As the game continues to transition to usage of two way middies Reme fits that mold. He has elite athleticism, possesses the skill and hard nosed mentality needed for a two way player, and he is a student of the game; often sending me clips from past games to learn what he can do better which is quite rare for a club player. You would be remiss as a coach to not take an opportunity with Rene as he will help make any team better.
Stephen Simpson
Reme Lobitz is a team first person he was asked to move from midfield to attack for this up coming season with no problems. Reme's lacrosse IQ is exceptional and his willingness to take direction is greatly appreciated by our coaching staff. Reme's stick stills, ability to dodge to score or passing the ball are special, he will never back down form a opposing opponent, he will use elite speed our his IQ to win that battle. Reme will be a great asset to any program.
Connor Gatenby
Reme and I have been working together on the True MN 2024 AAA roster since the fall of 2020. Our Team ended the 2020-21 season ranked 40th by US Club Lacrosse for the 2024 class. Reme fills a Top Line role for our Team, with the intangibles of a two way midfielder. An explosive midfielder with elite speed and agility, Reme has the ability to create space when dodging against long or short poles. This ability to create space off the dodge is complimented by Reme's lacrosse IQ, stick skills, and ability to find the net or open man effectively. Reme's tenacity and elite motor are equally visible on defense and between the box lines. With no fear of an opponent's size, Reme has the ability to stay in front of elite dodgers and lays bodychecks above his weight class. Some of Reme's most impressive plays are made when the ball is loose on the defensive half of the field. Taking great angles with elite speed, Reme has a nose for ground balls and an ability to run through contact and past riding attackmen/ transitioning midfielders. Reme is a "Yes, sir" "Can do" young man. He will be a tremendous asset to a worthy program.
