Recruit Profile
Hardworking, coachable, team player who loves and understands the game. High lacrosse IQ and fast on foot.

I had a lacrosse stick in my hand when I was 3 years old with lessons started at 4. I've always loved to run so my playing middie is a perfect position for me. During my time in youth lacrosse I was selected to the CONNY All Star Team two years in a row. Ever since then my lacrosse IQ has been developing. I'm typically the fastest runner on the team. My fastest shot has been clocked at 85. I credit my defensive skills on the field to current Canisius College Head Coach Mark Miyashita who coached my Summer Club team Fundamental Lacrosse when I was in 8th grade. Coach Sheets as we called him insisted on us knowing how to play both ways. I'm comfortable and confident playing defense because of him.

I was selected to 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All State during my junior year when my high school team won the Class M State Championship. I scored 6 of the 14 goals in the semi-final State game and 1 of the 5 goals and 1 assist in the State finals. To say that win was amazing is a ridiculous understatement!

My team voted me as their Captain for next year. My co-captain is a guy I played with since youth lacrosse. I am seriously honored to be chosen.

During my sophomore year I played on my HS JV football team. The varsity team won the State Championship that year.
During my freshman year, I ran track.

As far as my academic interests go I'd say that I really like physics. Didn't think I would but I do. So much so that I now think about things in graphs. I even asked my Physics teacher to write a recommendation for my college apps which he happily agreed to. (Turns out he thinks in graphs, too!)

My extracurricular activities include volunteering for after school youth programs, raising awareness for domestic violence prevention, collecting food for the local needy and this summer - rescuing fresh produce from farms and private growers and transporting them to a local food pantry.

I've also been working as a busboy at a popular BBQ restaurant on weekends. It's hard work sometimes but it's nice to have some spending money at the end of my shift.

Hard work really does pay off on and off the field!
