Rider Wilkinson
Recruit Profile
My greatest strength is seeing the field, what is happening next, what my opponent plans on doing, setting my teammates up for success. Multi sport player learning from multiple coaches.
I started playing lacrosse as one of a few 2nd graders on a 3/4 team. I was blessed with coaches that instilled in us a "Team First, these are your brothers" attitude that I have carried throughout my career. These same coaches also taught me that I needed to consistently work on my skills and not rely on the fact I was the biggest kid which pushed me to work hard off the field at a very young age. I have played 3 sports consistently (school and select) with seasons overlapping which has forced me to prioritize my time. Basketball and football have improved my lacrosse play both contributing to my footwork, my field IQ, my defense and ability to use both hands equally. I enjoy coaching the little guys and ref for both lacrosse and basketball. My goal is to become a teacher and continue on with lacrosse. Seattle Starz 2016-present, WCS 2018 to present, ADVNC NDP 2019 to present, 2019 Under Armour Uncommitted 2022, Nike PNW National Team, Glacier Peak Varsity as Freshman, ranked in the top 50 Varsity Scorers of Washington State, 2019 season with 45 goals, 23 assists, 43 ground balls, All Star East Coast Invitational 2019, Denver Shoot out MVP
