Riley Bunnell
Recruit Profile
Team first attitude, strong lax IQ, dedicated, aggressive, coachable, great leader with lots of heart & spirit!
I have been playing lacrosse since the 4th grade, I joined my elite club team in 6th grade and I was moved up to my high school varsity team my freshman year. Defense has always been my position and I pride myself on my aggressiveness and 1 v.1 defensive coverage. I love being apart of a team, the commitment, the dedication required, the friendships built and the successes we have achieved together keeps pushing me to work harder and harder on my game.
In addition to lacrosse I am most passionate about my academics & my service work. I am a member of the National Honor Society and the National Science Honor Society. This year I am taking AP Macro Economics, honors pre-calc & honors history. I have worked hard for my GPA (3.95 weighted) and love science and math.
Last year I traveled to Africa to work with the Maasai tribe on the Serengeti and volunteered at the Living Water Children Centre, home to 50 orphans in Tanzania. I completed my time in Africa summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro with my service group, it was an experience I will remember
forever.
This past summer I volunteered in Patagonia, working at a wildlife sanctuary and doing conservation work. I am very passionate about supporting the environment and giving back to those that are less fortunate- both of my recent service trips have provided me incredible adventures, an opportunity to see the world and support those that are deserving of our time, resources and friendship.
