Recruit Profile
Soft hands, unselfish, great vision of field, multi-sport athlete (basketball point guard, ice hockey), strong ground ball skills, and positive team player.

I got the bug for playing lacrosse after watching my brothers games when I was in kindergarten. When I was in 2nd grade, an organized girls lacrosse program was started in my hometown, and I've been playing ever since. It was a great complimentary sport to ice hockey, which I played for 7 years, on both PAHL teams and AAA girls teams for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite organization. Both sports gave me the opportunity to develop my hand-eye coordination and field/ice awareness year-round. I added basketball to the mix when I was in 3rd grade. I hung up the hockey skates when I went to high school, so I could focus on my academics and continue to play basketball and lacrosse. I earned a varsity jersey for both sports as a freshman, and I started every varsity high school girls lacrosse game last season.

As a sophomore, I was the starting point guard on my 6A high school varsity basketball team, which finished as the runner-up in the WPIAL championship game. We spent much of the 2019-2020 season ranked as the number one team in the state in the 6A classification (by Trib-Live Sports), prior to losing the WPIAL championship game in OT. We were slated to play in the quarterfinals of the PA state tournament, until it was suspended and eventually canceled for COVID-19. On the basketball court, I am noted for my strong defense, unselfish play, and vision of the court.

In lacrosse, I was a varsity starter on attack my freshman year. I had 45 goals, 61 assists, and 56 groundballs. Also during my freshman year, I made the western PA school girls tournament team, and also the UA Uncommitted Showcase 2022 team. I was also a participant in the HHH Committed Games. I am most complimented for my soft hands, ability to get groundballs, shot placement, unselfish play, and vision during the game.

When I'm not on the basketball court or lacrosse field, I am actively participating on the Principal Advisory Council at my high school. I was also inducted into the National Honor Society during my sophomore year. Some of my favorite classes this year were honors algebra 2, honors biology, Law and You, and Spanish 3. I am proud to maintain a 4.0 grade point average, while balancing 2 varsity sports and extra-curricular activities.

Riley brings her all to every play. She rides hard on transition and creates turnovers and quickly moves the ball into a scoring position post-strip. Riley has above-average stick skills and shines most under pressure. Her ability to hit the corners and see plays before they develop is fantastic.

Riley is an unbelievably hard working attacker. I love that her best asset is her work ethic and ride. She has great field sense, IQ, fast stepto score and feed. She is an all around player that really brings our team to another level. WELL ROUNDED!

Rliey is a great athlete and very talented lacrosse player, she excels at Attack but can play anywhere on the field. She has great field sense and vision, she can see plays develop better than anyone I have seen in a long time, is a great competitor and team player.

Riley is an extremely talented attacker that gets stronger each time she steps on the field. She has uncanny field sense, soft hands, patience and grit. Riley can feed, score, and develop plays from anywhere, she is phenomenal on the ride too. Well rounded, team oriented.
