Rob Hinsch

Rob Hinsch is entering his 3rd season as the Assistant Coach of the Womens Lacrosse team at the University of Northwestern.

Great Eagles success in 2021. The Eagles finished strong and made their first appearance in the Conference Championship. UNW earned that Championship game birth with one of the most dramatic wins in program history. The Eagles traveled to downtown Minneapolis to play the higher seeded Augsburg College. The match went into overtime and junior Samantha Wiebold scored the game winning goal with four seconds remaining.

Coach Hinsch gained a lot of experience coaching lacrosse prior to coming to Northwestern. He was the assistant coach at Chisago Lakes High School from 2017-2019, and then the Head Coach at East Ridge High School from 2019-2020. Also, many years of coaching at the youth levels.

Coach Hinsch resides in Lindstrom, MN with his wife Kristi and five children.
