As a former DBU lacrosse player, Taylor takes over the program as the Patriots enter their fourth season.

Russell has been a part of two inaugural collegiate lacrosse programs and was a key part of DBU's first team in 2015. Taylor has coached youth lacrosse and is now the head coach of Prestonwood Christian Academy middle school lacrosse team and also serves as an assistant at the varsity level.

Coach Taylor has a huge passion for all sports and was recruited to play for football from several Division I and Division II schools before making the switch to lacrosse during his freshman year at Abilene Christian University.
