A consummate leader, Ryan has led both in the classroom, on the playing field and ice rink, resulting in a 3.91 weighted GPA Junior year, two U.S. patents and related pet healthcare products, 2020 MSHSL Class AA 3rd place state championship, two state hockey and one state lacrosse championship. He has developed humble leadership qualities through his growth minded approach to academics, athletics, extra-curricular activities and volunteering. He has been recognized by his teammates, teachers, and coaches electing him as captain, honor roll member, defensive player of the year, and All-Section. Additionally, Ryan participated in the 2019 STX Rising DI Showcase where he was recognized among the top players in the nation for the 2021 graduation year. He attends The Blake School, which is a college preparatory school in Minneapolis, MN. He is taking AP AB Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Economics, AP Physics II, Latin Readings, English Electives in his Senior Year. He was awarded by The Blake School Administration with the Class of 2021 Dean's Recognition Award: Based on his demonstrated excellence in Academics, Citizenship, Respect, and Responsibility. His teammates chose him as the 2021 Varsity Lacrosse Team Captain. With a commitment to community involvement, learning and development, Ryan also serves in volunteer roles for The Waters of Edina Senior Living, Feed My Starving Children, Second Harvest Heartland, Dream Adaptive Skating, Edina Youth/Cradle Lacrosse and ImpactLives (Dominican Republic) in the Minneapolis area, donating his time to help others get the leadership, social, nourishment, and exercise opportunities they might not otherwise have access to. Ryan resides in Minneapolis with his family.
