Ryan possesses the size, IQ, and athleticism you would want in a close defense-man taking good inside out approaches to his man. Ryan has a tremendous amount of potential within his developing playing ability. He possesses all of the unteachable aspects and continues to grow his lax IQ every time I see him. Ryan can be a lockdown 1 on 1 defenseman, but can also QB a defense with his communication off ball. His stick is dependable off the ground and in the clears as well. Ryan truly has the ability to be a great pole at the college level.
