I started to play lacrosse when I was in the third grade. I have played every year in both the summer and during the regular season. I started as a middie and switched to D-pole in the 6th grade so I've seen both sides of the ball.
I was one of only two freshmen on Varsity and I received Defensive MVP and THSLL First Team All-District my freshman year. I was also honored to receive Defensive MVP again this past season. I like to pride myself in studying how players play and being able to defend a wide variety of different attackmen.
On my varsity team, I was always assigned to the best player on the opposing team, so I have pIayed against some strong D1 athletes who were all seniors and juniors even though I was just a freshman/sophomore. I wasn't perfect, but I held my own and was rarely ever scored upon.
I play on Varsity Football and Varsity Track when I am not doing lacrosse. This is 6A Texas high school football, so very competitive. I was one of only 4 freshmen that was moved up to varsity football during my freshman year.
Due to these multiple sports, I am used to being at school for football at 6am, having a full school day, lifting after school, and then going to either lacrosse or track practice. Often times my days start at 6am & end at 9:30pm. I am able to handle this load and still maintain excellent grades. I am also in the gifted and talented program at my school and take AP classes.
I am a member of Young Men's Service League where I have completed over 80 hours of community service. I also volunteer for vacation bible school at my church.
I was born in Colorado and am an avid snowboarder, but living now in Austin means I also get to spend a lot of time on the water. In my free time I enjoy working on my Jeep, hanging out with friends, playing video games and watching every Star Wars and Avenger episodes ever made.
