Hi, my name is Rylee Hulack and I am a 2023 midfielder/defender for Metro lacrosse Club. I have been playing lacrosse since I was in 3rd grade and have also played for the club teams X-Treme Lax Factory and BBL North. My BBL team folded this year and now I am a member of Metro. My whole life I have been surrounded by lacrosse and have grown to learn and love the sport. I can proudly say that I am a strong, passionate, and versatile lacrosse player. I am comfortable using my dominant(righty) and non-dominant(lefty) to shoot, pick up ground balls, and pass. I was selected to be on my varsity lacrosse team my freshman year. I take a lot of pride in the work I have put in to become a strong athlete and lacrosse player. In the fall my freshman and sophomore years, I have played high school soccer for the freshman and JV team. Although this fall, I am not playing soccer and focusing more on strength training and lifting to be a tough player on the lacrosse field. In the winter since I was a freshman, I have swam on the varsity swim team for my high school(and of course lacrosse training during the fall and winter too!). Besides sports, I work as a Red Cross CPR certified lifeguard in the summer and I work year round at my towns local Dairy Queen. I also volunteer at my church every Sunday morning at the nursery to watch over the little kids and teach them beginner Sunday school knowledge. As a freshman, I took Honors Physics and Honors Geometry while participating in the Highlands Cares club which raises money and volunteers for different charities.
My sophomore year, I unfortunately could not play a single game on my high school and club team due to an injury that took a lot of time to recover. I wish I could list some athletic accomplishments that I received, but I am proud to have earned a title as one of the Top Returning players of the 2021 high school lacrosse season by Bergen Record. My sophomore year was very challenging for me but I still finished with a 4.0 weighted GPA. For my junior year, I am taking Honors Modern Fiction, Honors Pre-Calc, Ap Government, Honors Biology, Honors US 2, and Spanish 4.
