Sam is an uber-athletic, do-it-all Goalie. He shows up on time, works hard, and is a consistent presence on the defensive side of the ball. His engaging attitude and competitiveness are paramount. Physically, he stops the ball with his pocket, controls rebounds, and starts transition with sharp outlet passes. Sam is constantly improving his game by taking extra shots away from team activities and attends all of his off-season lifts and conditioning sessions. He's excellent in the classroom and community. He is kind and intelligent; his peers respect him and view him as a leader.
