Ultimate team player is the best way to describe Sammy. 110% effort every time she gets on the field, always willing to learn and doesn't complain when you need her in another position. By far the best player on our team to play a 2 man game, she understands the concept of pick-n-roll to get not only her teammates open but herself. Defensively is strong and uses her body to defend by making great decisions. On both sides of the field she gives everything she has and even when she is out of breathe she keeps going without complaining. Sammy has great stick skills and is very smart with the ball. Sammy is a multisport athlete. She is a very hard working, coachable player. She is intelligent player who has an amazing knack of being in the right place in the right time. Sammy plays midfield on our FCA team and has great vision. On the offensive end, she has the ability to get the ball to the right person and gets the ball to her teammates in scoring opportunities. On the defensive end, she is a great 1:1 defender and has an ability to get ground balls in tight quarters. Sammy is a very coachable player and a great teammate. She is an excellent student (A). She has a very bright lacrosse future at the college level.
