Merrill Joined the AMCATS in January of the 2020-2021 season as the head women's lacrosse coach.

She will have secondary responsibilities as a part of the field hockey team, primarily assisting with recruiting.

Merrill played all four years of high school in her hometown of Dover, NH, before attending New England College. She completed her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a Minor in Wellness in 2013. While attending New England College, she was a four-year member and senior captain of the womens lacrosse program. She scored 73 goals along with 11 assists for 84 points. Merrill earned a master's degree in Sports Management in 2019 from the University of Southern New Hampshire.

Merrill has a wealth of coaching experience, including serving as head womens lacrosse coach at Thomas College in 2015. She led Thomas to a regular-season second-place finish with a 6-2 conference record and a trip to the conference championship game, finishing as the runner-up. In addition, she served as head coach of the womens club lacrosse team at the University of New Hampshire in the fall of 2014. Merrill has been involved in club youth lacrosse since 2016. She served as girls director and coach for the Houlagan Lacrosse club in New Hampshire from 2016-17 and was a member of the coaching staff from 2016-18. She has been a member of the Seacoast United/ Houlagan Lacrosse club coaching staff from 2016-2021.
