I love playing the game of lacrosse. I am a 3 sport multi-athlete and a team player. I am a competitor , disciplined, hardworking, determined and coachable.
My name is Sarah Scollin and I am left handed midfielder and high defense player. I continuously work on shooting the ball and my strong defensive skills. I have played the game of lacrosse since 3rd grade. I was a varsity starter as a freshman, have played club lacrosse for Headstrong Lacrosse Club since 5th grade and currently start for Reign Lacrosse .
I am a rising junior at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. I am a three sport athlete (soccer, basketball and lacrosse), my favorite sport is lacrosse. I have a strong lax IQ and love playing with my teammates. One of the many reasons I loved playing for Headstrong is the important cause for fighting cancer where my club raises money and awareness for. I am also an honors student and take honors math (honors precalculus) and honors science (honors chemistry).
I was named Second Team All Inter-Academic for my lacrosse 2022 Season as a Sophomore and am excited to compete in Under Armour 150 this Summer in MD. I also play club soccer and we won ICSL 2019 U15 Girls Division 1 Championship. In 2019 our team won the Inter-Ac championship and finish with a school record of 18 wins in a row. I also play guard for my school basketball team and was awarded The Coaches Award in 2020 and MVP for the 2021 Basketball Season.
I represented the Pennsylvania National Tournament for lacrosse in 2021. My Springside Chestnut Hill Academy high school lacrosse team competes in the Inter-AC Varsity Play vs. Nationally & State Ranked High School Teams with opponents committed to Florida, Stanford, Harvard, Virginia, Colorado, Denver, Virginia Tech, Penn State, UNC, USC and Loyola. Our team placed third in the Inter-AC league for the 2022 season and we competed in the Championship Game against nationally ranked Penn Charter and lost by 1.

If I could use one word to describe Sarah, it would be GRIT. From endline to endline, she hustles, is aggressive, and makes an impact for her teammates. Sarah is an exceptional lacrosse player, who continues to grow both physically with athleticism and mentally with know-how. She is a lefty two-way midfielder, and although her greatest asset is her ability to play defense, her IQ on being able to see plays develop & direct her teammates to defend the plays is extraordinary, AND she can shoot with great power both lefty and righty. Her communication skills are excellent and her aggressiveness is exactly what you want to see from a strong midfielder/defender who is willing to go through contact to score or move the ball on to an open teammate. Sarah is that athlete every coach wants on their team, as she is competitive, a quick thinker & displays incredible composure on the field. I can put Sarah in any position and I know she will lead the field through her play. She also has a team first mindset, as she never hesitates to assist her teammates who are in great position or to cut to create space.
