I'm a strong leader with proven high LAX IQ. I've learned to play aggressively and on both sides of the ball. But most importantly, I'm coachable, reliable and team-oriented.
While lacrosse is extremely important to me, academics is number one. I was accepted into the Gifted & Talented program in math and reading in 2nd grade and continue to be in the GT program. I played chess in middle school and I always try to think several moves ahead in life and on the field. I've played lacrosse since 2nd grade. I was a multi-sport player (basketball) up until high school when I decided to focus solely on high school lacrosse, club lacrosse and academics. I made Varsity Lacrosse as a Freshman and am proficient in both hands at catching, passing, and dodging. I'm extremely confident in my 1v1 defense match-ups and field IQ. I work well under pressure, but more importantly, I'm proud of my ability to read the offense well and lead the defense. In terms of class load, I'm taking AP US History, AP Language, AP Seminar, Biotech Engineering II, Physics, Pre-Calculus and Honors Spanish III. I'm interested in forensic science and digital forensics and am looking to major in Computer Science and Biology. While GPA is important to me, I value the opportunity to take risks and push outside of my comfort zone. So taking the hardest classes was more valuable to me than a perfect GPA. I am proud to have made Honor Roll my Freshman and Sophomore years. I'm an aspiring writer in my free time. I have two dogs and would have more if given the opportunity.

Jul 6, 2021 To Whom it May Concern, I have had the privilege of coaching Savannah Larsen for the past seven years. I was her coach in the Recreational, Club and currently as her High School Coach. During this time I have learned that Savannah is a fierce competitor, has a solid work ethic during both practices and games, and utilizes her lacrosse IQ with effect when working with the defense. Savannah is always seeking methods and coaching to improve her craft as evidenced by the amount of outside training in both Lacrosse and Speed and Agility. Sweat is definitely something she will shed for her team and love of the game. She has an ability to identify repetitive plays and uses that skill to notify others. Savannah academically challenges herself by taking some of the highest level classes that Rock Canyon High School has to offer. Her pursuit of academic success parallels her efforts and achievements in the sport of lacrosse from being a National Team Player for her club to making the Varsity level as a freshman.
