Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Pepperdine University

With over fifteen years of experience coaching girls lacrosse, Coach Scott Cohen is entering his fourth season as Head Womens Lacrosse Coach at Pepperdine University.

Coach Cohen has spent the last nine seasons as Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Chaminade College Preparatory in West Hills, CA. During his tenure, the Eagles have earned a 107-33 win rate (76%), averaging fifteen wins per season without the aid of a feeder program. In addition, Chaminade has won their league championship for seven consecutive years.

During his time at Chaminade, Coach Cohen has developed three US Lacrosse All-Americans, all of whom began training with him in their beginning stages of lacrosse. He also developed ten different Players of the Year both offensively and defensively, ultimately leading him to achieve the Pacific Lacrosse League Coach of the Year in 2016 and 2017.

In 2015 Coach Cohen was hired by the Israel Lacrosse Foundation as the offensive coordinator for the Israel Womens National Lacrosse Team. Team Israel competed in the ELF European Cup Championship in Nymburk, Czech Republic. He was the assistant coach for Team Israels Festival team during the FIL Womens U19 World Cup in Edinburgh, Scotland. Coach Cohen also trained athletes in Israel and Belgium during the Israel Lacrosse National Developmental Winter Program and visited various schools in locations throughout Israel to educate students about the sport of lacrosse.

Coach Cohen founded Scream Lacrosse in 2011, and currently serves as Head Coach of the program. Team Scream is a year-round club lacrosse program for beginner through elite female athletes in Los Angeles, CA.
