Sean Ireland grew up in Fallston, MD and was introduced to lacrosse at the age of 6.

He played at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, MD and then furthered his lacrosse career at The Ohio State University under Coach Joe Breschi.

At Ohio State, Sean was a part of the first OSU team to qualify for the NCAA tournament in 2002. After graduating in 2003 with a BA in History, Sean moved to Central PA. He was named the Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator for Cumberland Valley High School in 2005 and coached there for 11 years. During his tenure, Sean coached 3 USILA All-Americans and had many of his players go on to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. In his final season, CV reached the semifinals of the PIAA State Tournament - a first for the Mid Penn.

Outside of lacrosse, Sean is currently the Director of Association Programs at Brown & Brown of PA, a nationwide insurance brokerage. He is responsible for the retention of key clients, engaging and expanding the Association division, and the development of marketing strategies that drive growth.

Sean lives in Mechanicsburg, PA with his wife and two daughters.
