Multi-sport varsity athlete with 4.2 gpa, coachable, determined with a passion for lacrosse, strong work ethic, high Lax IQ, team player
I have been playing lacrosse for twelve years and have a passion for the sport. I was the sole freshman on a senior-heavy varsity high school team and my travel club's AA elite varsity team. I played in all varsity games my freshman year, starting in a few games as a midfielder. I was the second leading midfielder on this team and scored in many of the games including the VA state quarterfinal against the eventual runner up State champ. As a freshman I also played football, mostly JV but some varsity games.
In my sophomore year, I was a leader on my team. I surpassed all of my freshman stats by almost double and started all games. I played on my travel club's AA elite varsity team as well. I was just chosen to the VHSL 1st Team 4B All-Region this past year. I was invited to play in the 2019 Under Armour All American Call Back Academy and performed well.
I was named Captain on my lacrosse team. I was also asked to play attack this past season. This shows my versatility as a player. Unfortunately my junior season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through 2 scrimmages, I had scored eight goals and had eight assists.
I was also a starter on the varsity football team as a wide receiver, corner/safety, and special teams. I am a coachable player that takes pride in any sport that I play. I am an all around team player and have two way skills. My speed and dodging ability allow for my offensive skills. My physical grit and determination allow for my defensive skills. As a student, I have never received less than an A.
I hold a 4.2 GPA and take several AP and honor classes. I am involved in other school extracurricular activities, including DECA, Executive Council, and currently hold a SCA position. I have received recognition athletically and academically with tournament All-Star spots, scholar athlete awards, and other academic awards.
I just finished my summer club season with VLC 2021. We competed in three tournaments in Maryland and Pennsylvania versus some of the top ranked teams in the nation. I just made the One Percent Showcase All-Star roster in New Jersey.

Shane, is the type of player that any coach would want on his team. He is bright, a multi sport-athlete, that is involved in a number of extra curricular activities beyond lacrosse. A game changing, two way midfielder, that understands the geography of the field, and will exploit defenders weakness. Slippery, fast, and a very coachable player that has unlimited potential to succeed in any program.

Shane is a once in a decade player. A unique combination of speed ,skill drive and academics I haven't seen since I coach Ethan Powley who played at Duke. This player is a must see and be ready to get in line for this young mans talent and character.
