It is a great pleasure to recommend Shannon Doran to play lacrosse at the next level. She is one of the fastest and shiftiest athletes I have encountered in my years of coaching. I have been fortunate to coach Shannon for the last six years and over that time she has shown to be a young woman of character, intelligence, and talent. Her passion for lacrosse make her an ideal fit to play at the next level. Shannon is an extremely quick athlete. Shannon is the fastest kid on the field, whether it is transitioning the ball from one side of the field to the other, winning a 50-50 ball, or creating space, her speed is a tremendous asset. Her unparalleled speed enables her to create separation on her dodges. She has two of the fastest steps I have ever seen when she sets one of her many dodges. Shannon’s speed coupled with how adept she is at attacking lefty make her nearly impossible to defend. Shannon’s athletic strengths serve to compliment who she is as a person.
