I am a coachable, vocal, and tenacious defender who strives to make myself and my team better each day. Coach Tillo calls me a cerebral defender and my teammates call me Mama Sophia. I love both the competition and camaraderie of team sports. In addition to playing varsity lacrosse since 8th grade, I am also on my schools varsity swim team and captain of the soccer team.
Aside from my rigorous course load of Honors and AP classes, I am class president, yearbook editor, and involved in many organizations. I am a part of my countys Junior Leadership program, and I am also a Teen Health Educator in my community.
Though I am a relative newcomer to lacrosse, I believe my peak performance years are ahead and would love to continue my lacrosse journey in college.
