Recruit Profile
Driven athlete with strong stick skills and field sense. Moved to Switzerland after living in Seattle and Denver. I play with the Swiss National Team and on Varsity Soccer.
I started playing lacrosse in Seattle, WA for the Queen Anne Quick Styx and the Seattle Starz team when I was 8. I was a starter at Attack in every tournament for the Starz team, which was coached by Lyndsey Gillis. My family and I moved to Zurich, Switzerland when I started high school. Since I was 14, I have started at Attack on the Zurich Lions lacrosse club, which won the Swiss Championship the past 2 seasons. I am also playing with the Swiss National Team in the hope of making the roster for the 2022 World Games.
I attend the Zurich International School where I have made the Honor Roll every semester. I am taking 3 AP classes this year and already took AP English, AP Human Geography, and AP European History. Last year, I took AP World History and received a 5 on the exam. I hope to major in Political Science and/or History in college. I am a member of the Nepal club and I am going to visit there on a service trip next semester. In my free time, I love to travel, especially to France and Italy, ski and coach youth sports. I coached youth soccer in Seattle and I work as a babysitter and tutor in Zurich, Switzerland, especially with children who are learning English.
As a lacrosse player, I rely on my quickness and field sense. I enjoy leading the Offense at the X, being the quarterback, and feeding other Attackers and Middies. I am also capable of driving the goal when necessary. I learned stick skills from my father, who played at Notre Dame and learned to cradle and do wall ball since I was 6.

Sophie is a tenacious and fearless attacker with a strong drive to cage and almost artistic stick skills. Sophie is a respectful, coachable and hard working player, who likes to bring her own personal flair into her gameplay—It's clear to me that she loves the sport and is determined to continuously improve. Sophie joined the Zürich women's club team at the age of 14 and has been holding her own against grown women ever since. In 2020, Sophie began training with the Swiss Women's National Team.
