I began playing lacrosse at the age of six. During that time, I also played soccer and softball, but I didn't feel the same love or excitement for either of those sports as I did for lacrosse. Through the years I have come to truly love the sport of lacrosse and dedicate almost all of my free time to playing or practicing the sport. In middle school, I began playing field hockey, which helps to keep me in shape for lacrosse. I made the varsity lacrosse team my freshman year; unfortunately, the season was cancelled after only four practices due to Covid-19. Academics are as important to me as sports. I have made the principal's honor roll each quarter of my freshman year and am on track to maintain the principal's honor roll my first quarter of sophomore year. In addition to academics and sports, I have a passion for helping others. I started an annual fundraiser for ovarian cancer when I was six years old. In second grade I won my townships Martin Luther King J.R award for community service for my fundraising efforts. Since then, I have continued to be active through volunteering at Cradles for Crayons, the Nightlight Foundation, Lisas Army, as well as participating in many organizations on service day.
