Recruit Profile
Strong lax IQ, team player, coachable, love the game, friendly.

I started playing lacrosse since I could hold a stick. Early in my club career between ages 5-10 I was the leading scorer for my team playing midfield, and was a stud defender. In 6th grade I was the 3rd best scorer and led my team in ground ball wins. 7th grade year I won most valuable offensive player leading my team in goals scored, and picked up basketball and was my teams top defensive player. 8th grade year in basketball I won MVP for the Shamrock tournament and the coaches award, sadly 8th grade lacrosse didn't happen, but I kept practice so I could be ready for high school. I made the varsity lacrosse team as a freshman a started as a defender. I took honor biology and Math II Honor freshman year. Sophomore year, I'm taking chemistry honors, english honors, world history honors, spanish II honors, math III honors, and fitness class. I volunteer at my school's concession stand.

There are lots of strong high school players, many of whom are never able to translate their high school success to the college game. Taylor Alexander is that rare kid who can - she is a student of the game who can adapt and execute. At various times throughout her playing career, Taylor has learned how to lean on different facets of her game: her vision, her IQ, her stickwork, and her athleticism; and in turn she has developed into that player you never take off the field. She is the glue on every line of which she is a part. As a result, she possesses a complete skill set, one that will continue to develop under the tutelage of a college staff. She has elite game sense, a strong work ethic, great body and stick awareness, and is extremely competitive. She has the build, tenacity, skill, and experience to make an impact at the college level. Her off field aptitude (she is an excellent student) is apparent in her adept decision making and leadership on field. She makes other players better because she is out there with them.

Taylor is the real deal! She is smart, adaptive, strong and tough! Her fundamentals and understanding of the game make her a real threat anywhere on the field. One of the most exciting things about her game right now is watching her in a ride between the 30's. She is relentless! She is someone you want on the field all the time because she is a game changer. Her grit and size make her exciting to watch. She can go from locking down one of the best offensive players on defense to scoring on offense. Taylor's game continues to evolve and would be a great addition to any program!

Taylor is a strong, tough, gritty and smart midfielder. She has great vision which allows her to cause chaos in the defensive end and create opportunities on the offensive end. She is reliable and consistent with the ball in and out of pressure. Taylor is someone that you want on the field all of the time…she is a connector in offensive transition and is critical in defensive transition. She has great size and uses it well. Taylor is super coachable and a great teammate. Any coach would be lucky to have her on the team.
