My name is Teah Lakatos and I have been playing lacrosse for the past 10 years. I have been playing all over the field in my youth, but for the past couple of years have focused purely on attack. What makes me a unique player and has given me an advantage playing is that I am a lefty. I make it a priority through games and practices to become more and more comfortable with my right hand in order to achieve more success, although I still definitely gravitate towards using my left hand. Because of my use of my left hand, my coaches have been typically placing me on the left side of the goal for feeding purposes, but before that, I have played all over. I have been playing Varsity lacrosse my entire high school career, although I'm only in my junior year. I have started in every single game except for two my freshman year. Scoring 21 goals and 6 assists in my freshman year, I ended the year as fourth highest total scorer on my team. After completing my sophomore year, I have totaled 43 goals and 22 assists this season, ending my season as 2nd leading scorer, total points, as well as assists. I have 64 goals and 28 assists in my high school career as of right now. I was voted by my teammates and coaches to be a captain for my junior year and I couldn't be more excited to be able to lead my team in this capacity! I currently play for T3 Elite, where I have been playing for the past 4 years, and I had the opportunity to play down in Florida at the President's Cup. I currently play for Southern Lehigh High School, where we placed 2nd place in Districts my freshman and sophomore year. I currently possess a 3.911 GPA and find pride in working hard to achieve these grades. I try as much as I can to better my education and challenge myself by taking many honors as well as AP courses. I am a member of many clubs and activities at my school, including Student Council, National Honor Society, and Varsity Club. I also volunteer to help raise money for the Headstrong Foundation through my high school's annual "Headstrong Game" as well as helping to plan my school's annual Mini-Thon.
