Teegan Gilreath
Recruit Profile
Coachable player with a strong lax IQ, determined to work on all skills to continue to develop my game
Started playing lacrosse in middle school and have continued thru high school. I made the commitment to start club lacrosse to develop my game 2 years ago and work on specific skills with college players and coaching staff. I work as a low attacker looking for the cut and keeping the ball moving in the game. My Coaches have commented that my lacrosse IQ is a strength for me. My Lax IQ changed and improved as both my playing improved while studying to referee the game. As a referee I'm always looking in the zone of ball movement to make the split second call of the game. Coaches and teacher's have described me as a team player always willing to listen and work together. I have played with a variety of level teams within my club and at tournaments to always determine what my strength and weaknesses are and open to feedback. I am currently enrolled in the National Honor Society, Treasurer of the Best Buddies Club, International Language Club and Gear Up. I have also volunteered at a variety of community events. Currently, I reside in a Urban Multicultural city that has many opportunities to give back to the community. Both myself and my family find it important to give back to the community that we reside in to support local initiatives that improve the quality of life for others. One of my favorite events last year was playing baseball with special need students on Sunday afternoons.
